What We Do

As a locally grown organization informed by lived experience

Forest Grove Foundation understands the challenges facing our neighbors experiencing poverty and homelessness. Our peer-led programs and services empower people to transition from crisis to stability through pathways to housing, self-sufficiency, and long-term success. Current programs include:

Housing & Outreach Services Team (HOST)

FGF’s HOST program supports our neighbors experiencing homelessness wherever they are by providing survival and harm reduction supplies, building trusting relationships, and making connections to services and support within the region’s continuum of care.

Food Program

Our Food Program addresses food insecurity in Western Washington County. We distribute shelf-stable and fresh foods to community partners, deliver hot meals and snacks through our outreach team, and support initiatives aimed at improving local access to high-quality, nutritionally dense food.

Community Service Center

Opening in 2026, the FGF Service Center will provide vital support for individuals experiencing substance use disorder through peer-led coordination, connections to services, and a safe and welcoming space to foster recovery and stability in Forest Grove.

Forest Grove Foundation Village

Forest Grove Foundation is developing an evidence-based transitional housing community designed to help community members break the cycle of substance use disorder and homelessness.

“By coming together as a compassionate community, we can create lasting change, uplift individuals and families out of poverty, and provide a path to housing stability and self-sufficiency.”
